- זִלְחָא, זִילְחָאch. sam(זלח sprinkling fluid, perfume), sprinkling, gurgling, jet of water. Sabb.95a שרי זי׳ permitted sprinkling the floors on the Sabbath. Meg.28b ז׳ דמטרא a shower.Pl. constr.
